Create Your Own Animations
Animation Submission Guidelines
What to submit:
What we are looking for
- Animations that are visually pleasing, have an interesting message and make best use of the technologies available.
- We are expecting most animations to be around 30 seconds in duration. We will accept shorter or longer. In the case of short (< 15 sec) animations, we may loop them to make them longer. In the case of long animations (> 60 sec), they will be edited unless the content is sufficiently compelling.
- We would like people to take full advantage of the radio broadcasting ability and use music or even sound effects where possible. You are allowed use/upload copyrighted music from your library as we have agreements in place with the Irish music rights organisations.
What we are not looking for:
- Still images (i.e. single frame animations)
- Political or commercial/advertising messages
- Images, messages or audio that might be considered offensive
- Animations that only appeal to a small audience (e.g. your name scrolling)
What happens when you submit?
- All animations are moderated to make sure that they follow our guidelines
- (Starting soon) You’ll get an email stating whether your animation has been accepting or not. If accepted, you’ll be given a rough estimate as to when it will be shown the next day.
- After your animation is shown, you’ll be emailed a link to a video clip of your animation. You can share this easily with friends and family around the world.
